Poe out is disabled by default but can be activated in the unifi network controller.
I came back about 2 hours later and i can definitely smell that burning hot plastic smell.
I pick up the switch and it feels crazy hot so i grabbed my temperature gun and it s running at 102f while the room is 74f.

Is it possible to configure one of the poe ports to output 24v for some other ubiquity gear.

I grabbed the us 8 60w updated the firmware plugged in the lone ap to the poe port and left it on my desk.
Anyway a lot of people have noticed how hot the us 8 150w gets myself included.
In the properties panel go to the ports section and select a port that will participate in the link aggregation group by selecting edit pencil icon when hovering over it.
